Vassoural Equine Therapy Association

The relationship between people and horses goes far beyond sport, breeding, and the arena.

The Associação de Equoterapia Vassoural, AEV, is a nonprofit organization located at Fazenda Vassoural, in Pontal, São Paulo. Through equine assisted therapy, it uses horses as part of an interdisciplinary approach focused on the development and quality of life of people with disabilities.

For Rurally, developing this project also represented an important dimension of the equestrian world, one in which the horse goes beyond leisure and becomes a means of inclusion, autonomy, and social transformation.
